Providenciales is a very remote and relatively unexplored place offering a miles long, wide, sandy beach, ideal for beginners and self launching. Shallow turquoise clear warm water as far as the horizon. Better to launch from the Kite Beach, as the beach curves slightly and allows kiters to take advantage of sideshore conditions instead of onshore winds. Also further down it's covered with broken conch shells. There are only a few homes here, so no crowds. You could be the only one at the beach on windy days.

There's a growing nightlife on Grace Bay (north side of Providenciales). Due to the large amount of construction from all the expansion and growth in the Turks, more and more amenities are appearing monthly. Check out the local Irish Pub `Johnny Buoy`.
