The Bay of "Gostoso" is located in the northeast of Brazil. A reef for wave-riding as well as a lagoon for freestyle and beginner-sessions. The regular "Alizee" (15 to 25 knots per day)is active especially from September to February from south-east, side-off-shore in the 28°C -warm water. Locals are VERY friendly and helpful on the spot since massturism didn't reach that spot yet!!! We hope that everybody will respect this secret place!

RESPECT THE LOCALS!! Never ride alone! Be careful in the end of the afternoon (by 4 pm) since the wind may turn offshore!

Weather:

It is very hot due to the proximity of the Equator. There are 28°C in the water and 35°c in the air. NEVER you'll need a WETSUIT but a lycra is recommanded to avoid sunburns as well as harness-burns.

The Alizee may vary from 15-20 knots aor from 20 to 25 knots (depending on the week). There is also a thermic effect due to the hot sand that makes the wind accelerate! That's why the wind rises in the morning and gets stronger in the afternoon.
