Cabo Frio is a bay about 15km wide and has loads of places to kite. You can launch nearly anywhere along the long sandy beach. It's an excellent wave spot, clean and flat in between.

Most days between October and April are reliably between 16-20 knots range but there are often days that are in the mid to high 20's. The best time to go for the strongest winds are August to October. Since the bay makes a curve East winds will be onshore further south.
