Meia-Praia is situated in Lagos and in the summer it's one of the finest spots for the practice of Slalom, Freeride or Freestyle, with 5 Km of extension with clear water, offering you some great and magnificent rides or if you prefer a terrific ride till Alvor, winter it's ideal for wave sailing.
Kitesurf:
In summer it's a spot very aggressive for the practice of this modality, the wind are always very strong and offshore, not advisable to inexperienced riders , in winter it's a good spot with southeast or southwest.

From May till September it offers excellent conditions for the practice of Windsurf and Kitesurf, the predominant wind on this season in northwest. Usually during morning the wind strength is between 10 till 20 knots, increasing at 14H to 25 till 40 knots, except certain days that the wind are constant from southwest with 10 to 30 knots. During winter usually the wind arrives from southwest with 15 to 35 knots. Sometimes the wind it's from southeast (from North Africa) with 10 to 40 knots of strength.
