About 80Km drive (1 hour and 15 minutes) from Panama City, Punta Chame is where the main scene of kitesurfing takes place in Panama. It is shaped as a 8Km long strap of land about 500M wide.
The "Lagito" (small lake) spot is located in a small bay about 7KM before "La Punta". On the season December to April winds gets between 15 to 25 knots daily. The water is flat. Recommended for experienced kiters since the riding area is limited in size. The place works only on high tide since in low tide it dries out. There are places to stay nearby.
