Nyali Beach
Overview:
Nyali Beach has a large area of flat water enclosed by a reef 2kms offshore which offers some epic wave-riding. Although tidal it works on all states of the tide unlike a number of other beaches in the Mombasa area.

Details:
Weather in Kenya is divided into the South-East and North-East monsoons which give sideshore winds from either the right or left at different times of the year. North-East Monsoon gives anywhere between 8m and 12m weather most days from December to April. South-East Monsoon howls from June to September and can blow upwards of 30 knots+. Due to the prevailing sideshore conditions this is a great place to learn and improve. Sideshore NNE and SSW.
