Overview:
Bat-Galim, Haifa, is the only spot in israel that faces North.
The best time to ride here is in winter, when the spot gets South to West storms with strong winds that pump waves up to mast high. Best suited for wave riding, for exprience kiters only.
During the summer south west wind and flat water, good for all levels of kiters.

• From Ben-Gurion airport: 1 hour drive.
• From south of Haifa: head north on the "beach highway". When you get to the first light take a left and once you pass the underpass turn right and take the dirt road all the way till you see "surfers beach".

• Wind: in summer, autumn and spring blows a thermal wind around 15-20 kts 25% of the days). Stronger winter storms bring 20-35 kts (windy 80% of days). The mountains touching the beach create great 25kts side/side-off conditions.
