Warnemünde, Rostock's city beach, is a classic wave spot location location in Westerlies, but it works on Easterlies as well, even if not as big.
A 400 meters wide, nice and soft sand beach with lot of space for launching and landing kites. At summertime (July and August) is packed with tourists, but on stormy days they are blown into bars and cafès, so when it's really good you'll find place even in this period of the year.

Directions:
By car: (2,5 hrs) head to Rostock, once there reach Warnemuende via the road B5 (look to the signs).
From Berlin and Hamburg by train is the best: take the S-Bahn in direction Warnemuende, every 10min. In Warnemuende look for a big white hotel (Neptun). There you are at the beach!

Wind details:
In autumn and spring there are about 80% wind from 3-8 Bft. There are no usual directions, so you have to look for other spots around Rostock (e.g. Salzhaff, Bodden, Fischland Darß). In Summer lighter winds. The beach makes a curve, so further east to the mole SW and NE are sideshore and further west W and E are sideshore.
Best condition with W/NW/NE winds.
