Overview:

Pelzerhaken is a wide sandy beach with beautiful dune landscape, that gathers a broad scope of wind directions. There's grass to rig on, standing-depth flat water (on NW-NO winds), parking 50m from the shore, showers, toilets and snack-bars at hand.
Very busy in the water.

Kiters stay on left and always (!) upwind compared to the windsurfers. Its strictly forbidden to enter the dunes!
In summer you have topay for parking. Surfing is prohibited in the swimming area (marked by white balls in the water to the left).

Best seasons are autumn and spring. In summer its possible to catch some thermical winds from the East.
SW is gusty. The launch can be tricky and very gusty if the wind comes a bit sideoffshore.
Weather: Summer: Water about 20°C, Air 25°C Winter: Water about 5°C, Air 5°C In summer you can use a Shorty or 3/2 Steamer, but also 4/3 or thicker
Water: flatwater for about 400m. Choppy or small waves on the sandbar only on stronger winds. No tide. Lot of seaweed in summer.
