Directions:

For 3 Reais from Fortaleza with the local bus. Limitation is the few buses that rides the line. Starting from Fortaleza at 8.30 am and the last leaving Cumbuco at 5 pm. Or by taxi for about 40-80 Reais. About 30 min drive Northeast of Fortaleza.

Water details:

A shore dump wave at high tide, some banks forming soft breaking waves with a swell at low tide. Up wind to Icarai or down wind 2km towards Cauipe and there are nice waves to play in. Tides start to change every 6 hours. During the peak of the tide it can be extremely choppy but decreasing as the tide starts going down.

Relax on the beach, ride a horse, take a dune buggy ride, visit the city, check out the mountains, go wakeboarding...

Night scene:

Cumbuco for nice food, relaxed drinks with freinds and a party or two in the small bars.
Fortaleza for some really nice clubs, any night of the week.
