Wellington Point is part of Brisbane. It is one of two main kitesurfing locations in Brisbane, the other place is Brighton. "Wello" is located on the southside of the river. Booties are essential for beginner/intermediate riders. There are some restrictions on kiting at Wellington Point (ask locals for details).
