So its now officially the “off” season here in Cumbuco, Brazil – however for me I’m finding that pretty cool – getting quality time on the water… with very few kiters around at this time of year just a handful of locals and travellers have the many kilometres of beach, the lagoons and wave spots to ourselves…
Some days it rains in the mornings, sometimes all day long – but certainly in the last couple of weeks I’ve been able to hit the water for some classic wave sessions…
Icarai, Cumbuco and Taiba have all been getting nice swells in the last few weeks, by favourite session of the year was last week – just me out on the water, not another kiter or surfer in sight – enough wind for the 9m Waroo and shoulder high waves – total fun, no pressure, just riding for fun and for me… Jamie, Hi-Life
