The wind forecast last week for St. Pete was uncertain, so I headed over to Jupiter for 5 days of great riding - (although the infamous St. Pete sea breeze delivered a few excellent days while I was on the East Coast).

Jupiter was AWESOME...what a great place to ride. While there the wind was NE/E/SE/S with good wave riding, especially the last 2 days. Some great riders out there killing it on surfboards. This is not the greatest place for a beginner if the waves are big, and there's a pretty serious shorebreak so execise caution if you aren't up to it.

The color of the water is spectacular, and it's warm!, this being one of the closest points of land to the Gulf Stream.

Often times, when it's not windy on the West Coast of FL it might be going off on the East Coast...so don't hesitate to drive...CARPE DIEM!
