Kite in France in september

Hi,
i was trying to find somewhere in france to go kiteboarding at the
beginning of september, obviously with reliable winds, but also with
flat-ish water. There are so many spots in france it's hard to know where
to begin looking. Can you offer any good advice?? Even of a region, if not a
particular spot. Any help would be greatly appreciated

cheers,

Fergus

Hey there,

Hey there,

for reliable wind and flat water i would recommend the chest-deep saltwater lakes scattered around Leucate (have a look at etang de Leucate spot) and Barcares, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region (south west of France).

Reliable winds can be found also elsewhere in France, but for flatish water that's a good choice and the weather is much nicer on the south coast.

You might also have a look at the spotfinder ;)
